It says it's the late game. This actually makes sense to play broncos on the friday and penrith/warriors Saturday IF it is the early game so it is primetime on NZ TV
Not as bad as you might fear. Eastern stand sparse, ends a lot better.Anyways, I am currently stuck cleaning a balcony. How is the crowd for these two trash teams looking?
Always have been, always will beI was just wondering how much the competition would have gained in crowds in Cronulla's stadium hadn't been a construction zone. It turns out that the Sharks' top 5 averages at Endeavour are 2000 (13597), 2013 (13774), 1999 (13974), 2016 (14578) and 2005 (16553). So at best they would have picked up another 4-5k a game - say 50k to 60k - on top of the season average.
But only one of those seasons is above the 15k - 16k average the NRL has had for the past 20 years and none are near the 20k+ average the league aims for going forward. So it could be argued that the Sharks are a drain on the crowd averages.
I really hope the NRL isn't stupid enough to let them have a home final there next week.
There`s no argument about it, it`s a joke, a near billion-dollar competition that has one team playing out of a ground that looks like country footy. So it could be argued that the Sharks are a drain on the crowd averages.
I give you Leichhardt oval, Campbell Town and .Kogarah. Brookvale is saved by its new stand. There`s no argument about it, it`s a joke, a near billion-dollar competition that has one team playing out of a ground that looks like country footy.
Yeah mate but at least those grounds, not sure about Campbelltown, can hold 18000.I give you Leichhardt oval, Campbell Town and .Kogarah. Brookvale is saved by its new stand.
So will we but they are all ugly grounds. Who knows what Campbelltown holds.? It’s never more than half full.Yeah mate but at least those grounds, not sure about Campbelltown, can hold 18000.
I’m not supporting a home final by the way mateYeah mate but at least those grounds, not sure about Campbelltown, can hold 18000.
