I agree but given this years crowd boom it might attract a few more,

I am paying $70 on Saturday to watch everything you can at home.

Gates open at 2.05 and there is no lower grades, No women's game. No band nothing.. so that isn't appealing for casuals.

That is why such games don't attract huge crowds they should but the NRL makes cash, Fans of the competing sides are happy.

That is the main things

If it's played in Homebush or SFS or even @ Commbank we will go to it,no.matter what

Homebush is our choice of big venue.

It will be Friday due to keeping Sat open for possible Warriors game.

Very few casuals will attend

Some unsold accessibility seats have been released for Suncorp along with some additional seats in the members area which are used for corporate dining packages (section 525). Good signs for a big crowd.

Other than that about 400 single seats left.

The difference is that we're all passionate RL fans, and we go to any game these days, not just our club games.

The Sharks need to do something about their ground, I know for a fact they have more then 11k fans. Just how many members do the have? I think they have more members, then people attending games?

I think the Saturday would get a bigger crowd - but Penrith's second final will be the only final in Sydney after this week besides the grand final

Yeah I prefer that. I guess they will see what happens with the Warriors side of the draw

Not under the new rules.
in the late 90s I used to get a final series package with all games played at SFS. Admittedly the crowds then did not look good

Yet pre-Superleague they were great.

1993

38.5k for Manly v Brisbane at SFS
34k for Bris v Canberra.
31k St George v Canberra
42k St George v Cant
34k Bris v Cant

SFS finals crowds were really building up nicely until Superleague hit in 97.

When the SFS opened in 88, finals crowds were ordinary, but it built up nicely during the 90s

the 92,93 and 94 finals series are up there with some of my fondest memories of RL. Shame the GF's were all pretty average games but the weeks leading into it, ridiculous.

Canterbury V raiders 1994 that went into extra time is a game I will always remember.
