The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Sitting next to a Storm fan from Melbourne, I brought up the garbage code in Melbourne and asked him why do they get big crowds to this garbage? His reply was, the tickets for the flog festival is much cheaper to attend and kids get in free, and the food @ the grounds are much cheaper aswell. And he even said no wonder why people don't show up to NRL games, it's a major rip off that's why. I agreed with him.

It's unusual to see level 3 at the Northern End in use for a game with (likely in this case) less than 50k in attendance. The only time I've seen that bit of seating occupied during a event with less than 50k there is when Sydney FC used to play the occasional A-League game there

And then everyone stood up and clapped you.

thats really not true. Kids are cheaper in the better seats and they run a kids in for free month but not free most of time. Comparing other prices they are similar. Food and drink is run by the stadium not the sport so that’s bs as well.

An AFL fan would know so for the first time ever, this plank is telling the truth.

I’ve looked at the ticket prices previously when the same excues was made, it didn’t hold water. Nor does it explain the large crowds in other cities other than melbourne.

f**king hell for the 100th time this match was always gonna draw more than the capacity of Commbank, even without freebies. It was either Accor or Allianz and Penrith rightfully prefer Accor.
Hi @Yosemite Sam
Congratulations on being wrong 100 times. between freebies and 2 for 1 deals, there is no way there were more than 30,000 full price paying customers.
CommBank would have been perfect, as I said.
thanks, bye
