Once the development next door is complete end this year early next, the current restriction should be lifted. Now what that means additional crowd at this stage, I have no idea.

They're losing a potential extra 10k fans

ATM I couldn't argue on that one.
Gosford is starving for Rugby League. If the sharks took some games there, they surely won't be disappointed.... and they will fill the joint more than Shark Park will ever get. Would be nice if a game was taken there every week, but I know this will never happen..

Looking to next year I’d build further for Easter Round, almost a Sydney magic round
- Thurs Panthers vs Rooster
- Fri Dogs vs Bunnies
- Sat Sharks vs Dragons
- Mon Eels Vs Tigers

All games using the Easter Show continue to draw well
Also when the Perth Bears are admitted Sunday night vs Sea Eagles

It would be an incredible effort if it got to 30K on a Thursday night, even the Broncos don't get that.

Dolphins v Titans the following round is looking more promising, with some Level 5 tickets now on sale.
Why would they bloody schedule this for Thursday is beyond me. They should just get rid of Thursday nights full stop.... and bring back Monday night footy...like the old days...

Great attendances this week!

ROUND 7 GUESSTIMATES
Thursday 13 April 2023 at 7:50pm: Dolphins vs Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane ~20,000
Friday 14 April 2023 at 6:00pm: Sharks vs Roosters at PointsBet Stadium, Sydney ~11,000
Friday 14 April 2023 at 8:00pm: Sea Eagles vs Storm at 4 Pines Park, Sydney ~15,000
Saturday 15 April 2023 at 5:00pm: Warriors vs Cowboys at Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland ~18,000
Saturday 15 April 2023 at 5:30pm: Knights vs Panthers at McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle ~20,000
Saturday 15 April 2023 at 7:35pm: Titans vs Broncos at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast ~18,000
Sunday 16 April 2023 at 2:00pm: Raiders vs Dragons at GIO Stadium, Canberra ~14,000
Sunday 16 April 2023 at 4:00pm: Eels vs Bulldogs at CommBank Stadium, Sydney ~24,000
TOTAL: ~140,000
AVERAGE: ~17,500

Some factors:
- Really have no idea what the crowd will be for the Dolphins/Rabbitohs on Thursday night at Suncorp
- Weather forecast looks average in Sydney on Friday, but great on Sunday

Maybe what the Sharks can do is a "five for five" deal. Take five home games per year for five years at Allianz. And after the deal expires, then reassess the clubs situation in terms of profitability.

The Dragons could do something similar.
For the outsider looking in, that may seem like a good idea, but seriously, the commute is an absolute shocker be it public transport or by car. Crowds would tank.

It is vital for the Sharks to continue playing out of Shark Park. There is a commercial district on the doorstep opening up and the Leagues Club is not being revamped, only to relinquish 5 home games that would take hundreds of thousands in revenue over the course of a match day.

Move the Sharks to the SFS and the club will wither and die.

Central Coast is at least fifth or sixth in line for getting their own team - in which case it won’t happen Any time soon.

The NRL should instead arrange it for a Sydney club - say Manly or the Sharks - to play a consistent set of home and away games there year in year out. Say two home games and four away games. Manly and Cronulla would massively expand their brands by playing 10 matches in Sydney and 6 in Gosford. Make one of those clubs the defacto Central Coast team.
