Gotta say considering the performances and position on the ladders for both ,that is a pretty good result.

I reckon that’s pretty right except I’d swap Newcastle and Gold Coast. Dolphins would get over 30000 Friday or Saturday.rd 7
Redcliffe v South Sydney 25k? (no idea)
Cronulla v Sydney 12k
Manly v Melbourne 17k (sellout)
New Zealand v North Queensland 20k
Newcastle v Penrith 24k
Gold Coast v Brisbane 21k
Canberra v St George 13k
Parramatta v Canterbury 24k
19.5k average
pretty good considering the form of both teams prior to the match
Yep, excellent crowd for 16th v 17th. Royal Easter Show dragged a few people in.Gotta say considering the performances and position on the ladders for both ,that is a pretty good result.
I think it is safe to say that the second biggest round EVA is a great result in anyone’s languageNow all the crowd numbers are in ,would the mathematical Einsteins among us give us the overall picture?
Either we dun good, best crowd in years, could have done better or we sh*t it in and there was no fudging.
I think the Dolphins crowd is optimistic.rd 7 Going optimistic because I have been happily surprised with most crowds this year.
Redcliffe v South Sydney: 29 350 (-3000 for thursday)
Cronulla v Sydney: 11 800 (capacity)
Manly v Melbourne: 17 700
New Zealand v North Queensland: 18 500
Newcastle v Penrith: 23 300
Gold Coast v Brisbane: 24 800
Canberra v St George: 15 300
Parramatta v Canterbury: 27 200
Total: 167 950
Avg: 20 993
Yeh, I think that one was more what I hoped they can get. It is the first test of their real support, so to speak.I think the Dolphins crowd is optimistic.
Very first game at a good time was 32 ( so major novelty factor)
Game in Redcliffe ( only holds 12k)
Then Broncos ( sold out)
This is the first real test for the Dolphins without any novelty/ derby ect and it’s a Thursday with a Easter hangover...
I'll say 17k. Under 15 would be a disappointment over 19 would be fantastic.
Even the Broncos would only pull 25k to that fixture.
Always have a dip due to origins and winterWould be great to continue the great crowds and build on the momentum for round 7.
Highlights the need for Sharks and Manly to get into modern 25k stadiums (or any other way capacity could be higher - allianz). Both clashes would and should be getting 20k+. Add in a CIVIC stadium for Canberra and we'd be looking at a round of 20k+ crowds. (I'm liking the looks of the Warriors sales).rd 7 Going optimistic because I have been happily surprised with most crowds this year.

Just imagine how much revenue the Sharks are losing each time they're playing at home. They're missing out on a close to 10k fans each time attending games. When will the construction of the ground be completed? It looks like it's taking forever!!!Highlights the need for Sharks and Manly to get into modern 25k stadiums (or any other way capacity could be higher - allianz). You have 27,533 for Broncos v Tigers last week - was 27,553 according to NRL.com. You also have 9226 for Dogs v Cowboys same week, was 9626
Note: Leagueunlimited twitter has a slightly different overall number. Im damned if i can find why.
Once the development next door is complete end this year early next, the current restriction should be lifted. Now what that means additional crowd at this stage, I have no idea.Just imagine how much revenue the Sharks are losing each time they're playing at home.
