For the outsider looking in, that may seem like a good idea, but seriously, the commute is an absolute shocker be it public transport or by car. Crowds would tank.
It is vital for the Sharks to continue playing out of Shark Park. There is a commercial district on the doorstep opening up and the Leagues Club is not being revamped, only to relinquish 5 home games that would take hundreds of thousands in revenue over the course of a match day.
Move the Sharks to the SFS and the club will wither and die.
I'd be happy with anything over 16k tbh. We have to be realistic in our expectations.I think Redcliffe vs Rabbitohs will be a bit ordinary. Maybe 19-21k - a full lower bowl could get them that.
They've got a lot of lower bowl seats to shift, and haven't sold anything in level 6 yet. They have sold some category red tickets in the level 5 corners, but I think only 506, 507 and 508.

Of course. I'm not one to bash a Thursday night crowd - we all know that another time slot and good weather and this would be 25-30k.I'd be happy with anything over 16k tbh. We have to be realistic in our expectations.
From memory I think the grand plan was to do just that at Shark park, new CoE on the western side with a grandstand upgrade/extension as part of it?My proposal was short term. The thing is I want Cronulla to stay at Shark Park. But if the stadium doesn't get the required funding for upgrading, then it will have a limited shelf life.
The Sharks board need to come up with a clever idea or two to get the ground upgraded. Over at Brookvale Oval, the COE was built inside the new northern grandstand. That new grandstand has a duel purpose.

It was actually going to be built where the Monty Porter / Southern Grandstand is (https://www.sharks.com.au/news/2017/06/02/sharks-strive-for-excellence/) which considering it is the 'newest' grandstand doesn't make sense, as the stand already is at the road and in order to turn it into the 7 story building that was proposed, it would need significant work or to be rebuilt. From memory I think the grand plan was to do just that at Shark park, new CoE on the western side with a grandstand upgrade/extension as part of it?
Sell the land and start somewhere elseIt was actually going to be built where the Monty Porter / Southern Grandstand is (https://www.sharks.com.au/news/2017/06/02/sharks-strive-for-excellence/) which considering it is the 'newest' grandstand doesn't make sense, as the stand already is at the road and in order to turn it into the 7 story building that was proposed, it would need significant work or to be rebuilt.
If they actually got the money from the State Government, they would be far better off rebuilding the Western Grandstand and increasing the overall capacity of the ground.
i love hearing stuff like thatDuring the Swans game on Saturday night, people sitting in the coperate box were watching the Penrith Manly game instead of watching the aerial ping pong lol...
Too low
After Easter everyone is mostly just getting back into work routine, worst Thursday of the year. Not on a Thursday night.
Totally agree, I feel like they've sold 2,000+ just today.Silver tickets behind the posts on the ground level appear to be selling well at Suncorp. Bays on sale have halved over the past 24hrs and of the 5 left, they're all about 70% allocated.
Other bays don't appear to have lots of tickets left, but that could be holds. Short week doesn't do any favours for the Dolphins either.
It's a double header.Apparently Souths are taking a game to Perth.. Has anyone heard of this?
I just don’t see that as being the smart move. The club have built hundreds of apartments surrounding the newly renovated leagues club precinct with hotel and shopping centre options, just to give it all up?Sell the land and start somewhere else
Trick: Edit your predictions after the games are played.First time doing a full weeks worth of predictions:
Dolphins vs Bunnies - 18k; hoping for a push for 20,000+ but the time slot and day is a killer.
Sharks vs Roosters - 12k (Sellout); may see it not be a full sell out due to the time slot, but it'll be as packed as it can get right now.
Maly vs Melbourne - 17k; inching closer and closer to a sell out in the stands but hard to predict how many will buy up the hill tickets.
Warriors vs Cowboys - 21k; selling nicely. could see more.
Knights vs Penrith - 22k; anticipating tickets to sell more but going off what I see plus unsure if all members will attend, I see it around this range right now.
Titans vs Broncos - 23k; At the rate the tickets are selling I'll be genuinley shocked if it is any lower than this. Could also push for a sell out if Flexi members opt in for this one.
Raiders vs Dragons - 16k; Originally had this one at 14k, but checking the sales now and the time slot it's in makes me hopeful that it'll break 15k and push for 16k
Eels vs Bulldogs - 25k; Could see this pushing to sell closer to 28k, but only time will tell.
TOTAL - 154k
Average - 19.25k
I left a LOT open to interpretation as it is my first time properly trying this. If anyone has any tips or tricks with it please let me know on how I can improve!
