I hope Joseph Sualii has been watching the NRL today , sellouts everywhere
amazing football being played

then
I hope he switched on the stupor wugby at allianz
there wouldn't be 5000 fans there & the atmosphere of a funeral home to match it

thats why you play NRL son
its unmatched
Lol, i just flicked the channel and saw that, the crowd is horrible, as you say it would be be under 5,000.

Yeh I can’t remember any after that, Warriors fans would have a better idea if there’s any reading. You’d think if they still could they would have for the welcome home game last year at the least, unless it costs more than it’s worth.
They definitely used to sell hill tickets back in the early days. In recent years they’ve put a temporary stand in front of the hill at the north end, less capacity but closer to the action.
I don’t think a stand will ever be built at that end as the flat tarmac area in front of the hill is where the stage is always put for concerts. The best way to up capacity at Mt Smart would be to build a permanent southern stand that matches the eastern stand and basically wraps both its tiers around the south end. Just put a temporary movable tier at the north end.

Wow how good are the crowds for Super Saturday. Great day for Rugba Leag

That sounded like an awesome atmosphere at Newcastle. Great game too.

The crowds are getting better because of not only the cracking results, but the NRL have put the right games on.

Ive looked at the schedule for the next few weeks, there's going to be some absolute crackers that should get big crowds

Wow tonight’s crowds were all fantastic. The atmosphere at Newcastle today was incredible and the game delivered. I’m not a knights fan but god was it such a shame they lost. The fans still left with an enjoyable experience but if they’d got up and beat the panthers the atmosphere was about to explode like a finals game.

Hopefully they back it up.

The Dolphins crowd vs the Rabbitohs on Thursday night was the then-10th biggest crowd of the season.
The Warriors crowd vs the Cowboys this afternoon was the then-10th biggest crowd of the season.
The Knights crowd vs the Panthers this evening is the 10th biggest crowd of the season.

If the Titans crowd is bigger than the Knights crowd (unclear at this stage), the 10th biggest crowd will have changed 4 times in this round (and 3 times today).
It appears it’s been broken again?

From memory I think the grand plan was to do just that at Shark park, new CoE on the western side with a grandstand upgrade/extension as part of it?
Correct. But politicians being politicians things change so they get in or remain in power.
In the case of a long suffering Shark's fan it's always been 2 steps forward 1 step back.

The Sharks have been buying up assets in the form of a licensed club at Kareela (profitable) and purchase of the old Westpac Bank in Cronulla Mall for use as Head Office and merchandising sales.Once this Leagues club is completed at Shark Park (delayed due to COVID, then weather ,building materials in short supply or waiting access from overseas), that will be another source off funding for eventual upgrade of the stadium(long term).
I'd suggest the chances of the club moving games elsewhere will be self defeating ,travel for starters and sponsor boxes income all have influence.
They already will be playing at Coffs Harbour.Season ticket holders also need to be considered.

It is indeed the western side of the ground that should be upgraded with a wrap around stand.

Great results. I honestly thought getting a 20K average this round was going to be a stretch, but we now only need 35,307 tomorrow.
will get over 40K I'd say
Canberra will be a problem , its going to be a shit of a day apparently
