Shithouse weather today in Canberra and the raiders are not releasing undercover seats that are reserved for potential new members. Morons.

I’ll be checking till about 1pm and if they list some undercover I’ll be going and have a pax, but it looks below the sharks game sales at game day.

I think the Canberra crowd should respond a little to last week's performance and be not bad

Surely NZ deserves a second team After the Warriors magnificent turnout yesterday, and there's so much appetite for RL in NZ it's not funny.

The NRL should hurry up and consider this as the next 18th team in maybe Wellington or Christchurch. While Rugby League crowds are on a massive rise in Kiwi land and the best spectator sport on the planet. However the Union crowds is dwindling, just look @ there recent crowds empty seats everywhere, maybe people are finally waking up and realising the game has turned into a farce.

That would be cool I used to think Wellington but now I’m more for Christchurch. Stadium wise it’s a better option, they are building one right now. It’s the right configuration unlike Wellington. Slightly bigger urban population and I like the idea of a north/ south divide in nz for nrl

Not really.

Christchurch and Wellington are both tiny. About the same size as Newcastle. And Rugby League is borderline nonexistent outside of Auckland (which is strange, considering how popular the NRL is with Kiwis who have come across the ditch.)

1 team in NZ is enough for now.

Pretty much this. Comps outside of Auckland are not strong. Some are coming back but a lot of damage has been done. The other issue is where is the bid for a second team anyway? We know of WA, PNG and the various bids in Brisbane but NZ? Who?

Realistically the only bid from NZ that would have any chance of success would be a 2nd Auckland team. There just isn't enough interest or a large enough population elsewhere in NZ.

Take Origin to anywhere in NZ and it will sell out ten times over.....you'll be just surprised how many people visit from NZ to Australia for Origin games...
