Great win for Parra and important for the game I think. Some potentially big crowd-pullers coming up in winnable games against the Tigers on Easter Monday in R6 and the Bulldogs at home on a Sunday afternoon at 4pm in R7 as Parra get their season going.
Anything less than a sellout for the Dogs game will be subpar

Looks like the restricted-view tickets have been listed through the main Ticketek portal for the Dolphins and Broncos.

At last count, there's 109 single-seat only tickets remaining with restricted views.

The ultimate crowd figure will depend on how many members/corporates turn out, but we could be on track for some history. A crowd greater than 51,517 would become:
- 1 of the 10 biggest regular season rugby league crowds in over half a century
- 1 of the 5 biggest regular season rugby league crowds in Brisbane/QLD, and the biggest since 1995 (54,645 for Broncos vs Warriors at QEII)
- 1 of the 3 biggest regular season rugby league crowds in the 2000s
- The biggest regular season rugby league crowd in the last decade (59,708 for Rabbitohs vs Roosters in 2013 battle for Minor Premiership at Stadium Australia)

I go with a group that has a total of 15 season tickets, only 4 of us went to the game. Got home 10:45 on a school night. Not surprised it was only 16000
This game should of been Sunday afternoon
Guaranteed Sellout
Agree but the NRL don't have the balls to tell Tv Corps to do one when it comes to stupid time slots.

The nrl need to limit Thursday night games to like 5 a season like season opener or scrap them completely. Their worse then Friday 6pm starts which are big crowd pullers in Newcastle. At least a Friday 6pm game you have the 8pm game straight after.

No Saturday 3pm game this week. Could have had the Knights vs Raiders at 3pm on Saturday and the Eels vs Panthers at 4pm on Sunday.

Thursday night growing up was Nrl footy show night.

Yep! They got sick of users missing the hidden link to the restricted view seats, so they just plonked them in the full priced category yesterday afternoon and they were down to single seats in about 45 mins. Shows that heaps of people were trying to find them.

The lions are on tonight too, suncorp members really should have needed to opt into this game like they would an origin.

I also think they should have released standing room tickets like they did for origin 3 2017, that was epic.

I’ll go with 50,250.

Thursday is here to stay

But it needs to be shared around..

Most fans will cop the novelty of 1 Thursday night game per team

You give one team 2 Thursday out of 4 and it costs you 10k fans

That would be okay if the NRL distribution to clubs was based on a clubs viewership.

Then you could make up that difference with the grant.

That is how the EPL does it in the UK.

Big ratings clubs get paid more in way of the Grant from head office due to bringing in majority of the broadcasting revenue.

Grandstands are looking pretty full at Mt Smart. It's pretty much single seats only, except for the corners on the upper stands. Not sure how South Stand is selling, though it's usually pretty well attended.

Newcastle isn't moving like I hoped for a 4pm Sunday game, minimal movement this week, and it looks like they are selling every odd-row in some bays. It's only because they usually sell so well, that it is surprising, for most other club's I'd be over the moon with the pre-sales.

Think the weather could be putting some off. Had a big storm yesterday and it’s going to be raining a lot over the weekend.
