I challenge you to take a 13 hour day out stuck on trains and at platforms with no services in the pouring rain.

Public transport in Sydney is really appalling, I remember going to a home game at ANZ, I think we played the Sharks, too probably 3 hours to get home because of "signal failure"

I had to get Parramatta last night, I shouldve taken a bus or driven. I can see the thousands of people stranded on Blacktown and Parramatta station.

They should get that Hindmarsh lookalike who Fletcher keeps showing, he'd do a good job here lol

Sydney Trains was a letdown last night for the crowds going to Accor, there's no doubt. But by 2030, we'll have much more resiliency and reliability in the transport network:
1. Sydney Metro West (SMW) will make it possible to travel from Parramatta to Accor in 5 minutes and the city centre to Accor in 15 minutes. So those Manly fans last night who may have bussed to the city centre with the intention of catching the train to SOP would instead be able to use the faster and more direct metro to get to Accor.
2. Sydney Metro City & Southwest (SMC&SW) will make it easier to travel across parts of the network. For example, those (few?) fans who were travelling from St George and the shire could have changed to SMC&SW at Sydenham and then to SMW at Hunter Street.
3. Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 will make it possible to get a direct light rail service from Westmead and Parramatta to Accor.

Whilst this doesn't solve whole-of-network issues, it will make it easier and more cost effective to get a taxi or rideshare to another mode of mass transit and avoid the clunky old Sydney Trains network if required.

Anyone have an idea of when Shark Park is meant to go back to full capacity?

Austadiums reports capacity is reduced until the Leagues Club redevelopment is finished in mid-2023, which probably means 2024 considering the number of construction projects that are actually completed on time these days.

I think you are pretty right but I’d add 4000 to South Sydney, 3000 to Brisbane and 2000 to Canterbury taking 2000 off St George. Total 125000.
