The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

They are going to make the Broncos very uncomfortable. This crowd might even garner a bit of chatter amongst Broncos powerbrokers because recently the Broncos have struggled to get 23k on a Thursday. We will need to address our horrifically overpriced tickets because some of the Dolphins tickets are up to 40% cheaper.

Over the past 5 years 23k on a thursday is very comparable to the Broncos.

Yep your prices are poison.

Should be pricing to fill the place.

They got titans next week on Sunday so hopefully that one could push 30
They've set themselves a very high bar getting 23K on a Thursday night that it will almost be a little disappointing if they can't get over 30K for a Sunday afternoon against another South-East Queensland team.

Titans snagging a win against the Broncos this week would give it a very nice boost and hopefully would see the media run with it a bit.

I think you will find that the NRL released it's 2023 draw in early November.

Meanwhile the AFL caused a stir by releasing their round 1 2023 draw during the Socceroos world cup game against Argentina. The AFL finally announced their full draw a week later, which effectivly was a month after the NRL.
I know. That is why I suggested that they could have swapped this week’s fixture with the Storm’s home game later in the season. However, it was already widely known that the AFL was planning a Magic Round copy the week after Easter. NRL should have planned better.

Hearing about the shit reporting on the Rams demise pisses me off! Ch 9 sucks balls.
I live in Adelaide and was hit with FB ads tonight offering cheap tickets to the richmond game. $15 and u14 for free.
thought that was interesting and prob a sign they haven’t sold like they thought they would. Good!

If the AFL stick to the same week of the year, every year, then the NRL can organise a draw where the Storm play at home on that vacent weekend where there is no AFL in Melbourne. Or the NRL can release its draw after the AFL.

Personally I much prefer the NRL do their own thing, and things take care of itself. Example bringing in the Dolphins.. Meanwhile the AFL copied an idea from rugby league.

probably more turncoat Sydney/non QLD club fans than ex Broncos fans.... Brisbane has quite a few fans of non QLD teams.
Agree. Quite a few people I know just picked a Sydney team that their dad followed in the NSWRL because they couldn’t warm to the broncos. This type of fan might be jumping on the Dolphins.

I also have a few mates that prefer rugby (ew) and didnt love the broncos but they’ve jumped on the dolphins.
