The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

That was quite the jump to a conclusion there.

If the Broncos win tomorrow night the media will lose their minds about this being the greatest TV viewing since walking on the moon. And potentially drive ticket sales. If we play like gronks we will still get a decent crowd (and ticket sales suggest that) but we might not draw into the Cowboys / Melbourne attendance territory.
Nice response. It’s the roll on isn’t it? You create momentum through successful actions and it creates engagement.

If the Broncos loose against the Eels will have very little bearing.

It will be a top 4 clash regardless.

Looking at Suncorp ticket sales it looks to be heading for a huge crowd against the rabbitohs next week.

Restricted view tickets are on sale across all categories at Allianz Stadium for Tuesday's ANZAC Day clash between the Roosters and Dragons.

By my count, there's less than 250 (235 for those playing along at home) general public tickets remaining on sale. That means 98.98% of all general public tickets have been sold.

If you applied that percentage to Roosters + stadium members, we're currently looking at a crowd of just over 42,000.

Weather still looks pretty good.

All signs continue to point to a record crowd at Allianz 2.0.

Good RL with plenty of close games has got us on a roll .
Great start to the season …Crowds flocking to games .
Only 2 negatives I can see is the usual late Autumn/winter wet weather & SOO affecting crowds .
Im not religious but if you are say a prayer to the weather gods to be kind this year.

The SOO affect is due to some teams being shit by then. Need teams to keep winning to get crowds for longer

Not sure why there's are these accusations that @Perth Red is an AFL troll, I mean the guy goes to more RL games a year than most RL fans do and has an extensive knowledge of the game, not only in Australian, but internationally. He's not a fly-by-nighter by any means either and IMO adds a nice bit of realism to threads, like this, which can sometimes get a bit excitable.

Anyway, back to crowds, Storm are talking up that Tuesday is on track to push their 2014 ANZAC crowd, which was 28,716. Even with extra seats released for AAMI Park today, breakdown on Ticketek looks to be supporting a big crowd.

At Queensland Country Bank Stadium, despite the average start to the season by the Cowboys, lower bowl is down to single seats.

A lot of the lower bowl are season ticket holders so there's not a lot available there to begin with.

The 2nd tier is still barely 50% sold, even with the 2 for 1 for current and ex serving patrons the ticket sales are pretty disappointing tbh. Unless there's a huge walk up tomorrow or sales over the next 24 hours I don't think it will crack 18k.

The insipid way NQ has played RL this year they honestly don't deserve 8k but my resting bitch face gripe with my club is for another day.........

Suncorp next week already has a pretty solid amount of level 7 on sale. With 7 days of sales and the potential boost from a Broncos win, any chance of this selling out? @SLRBRONCOS

Is this more or less where we're at for it?

Also what's the go with s712 being $70 while the presumably better seated bay next to it is $35.

Warriors game next week also selling very well. Strong performance on Tuesday should see another 23k+ crowd.

If we win tonight there is a chance of a sell out - contrary to what some people think, whenever we win that night we usually see a blitz of sales which I link to merriment/ adrenaline from a good win. If we win tonight we could see 1-2k sell post game.

In any case it's a top four clash so the crowd will be good, we just might not capitalise on the winning feeling. Some people that buy in a whim are the type that don't go if they have time to think about it.

The weather is going to be a huge factor - rain forecast basically every day from now till then. Who knows what Friday will bring weather wise, but if fine I'll go with 36-39k with a loss and 40-43k with a win.

If the media does its magic and JD runs his mouth a 45-47k sellout is possible with good weather. But we need restricted view to be sold.

Your map is pretty close. Half of 604 is being sold as sideline and available. 708 and 710 are close to being sold out, and 704, 705 and 706 are sold. 712 is actually cheaper, Ticketek is just a trash platform. If you manually click on 712 it says that it's sideline, but it's actually 'no alcohol' which is $30 for an adult.

AAMI looks on track for 25k on Tuesday, will feel quite full with several thousand seats out of action due to construction.
