We had a few years of averaging over 40k, I can't remember off the top of my head and can't be bothered to research them. The difference was that schools and junior clubs were gifted loads of tickets to attend at the old QSAC Stadium (which is a dump).

We are lucky that we are playing well so far, otherwise we would have needed to discount the prices of our tickets significantly. I wish we would anyway.

Back 5-10 years ago the sidelines would always sell so quickly, now people are preferring to sit behind the posts because it's cheaper. We sold half of 721 at $135 a pop + fees and that is just insane.
Broncos have basically little incentive to grow crowds as they already spend max cap

with the competition from the dolphins, plus more derby games and broncos games not on Thursday or Friday night should all boost their crowds

Broncos averaged crowds 1993 (43200), 1994 (37705) & 1995 (35902) in their first 3 years at old ANZ Stadium (I still call it that). By 1996, it had slipped to 23712 as Super League set in and probably the novelty of the stadium wore off.

Yes ANZ was a dump and a prick to get to but it was well documented why the Bronx left Lang Park to go there.

Probably caught up in the Sydney traffic after a hard days work.

6pm in Sydney is stupidity

This is true. Sydney is bumper to bumper on a Friday night. Don't the men in suits know this? Surely they could've arranged this a better time slot or day, like Monday at 8pm.

I believe the Fans on here can do a better job...
