Why would they do that?No way ch 9 would have allowed that.
The small crowd is due to the storm doubling thier ticket prices.

Nice post, but I thought the Storm gets averages of of over 20k this year? For finals footy it's no where near that tonight I don't think.Crowd in Melbourne looks around 18000-19000. Across the road two fumbler clubs with massive support bases will get about 5 times that. That’s the way it is. Storm have a nice niche growing supporter base in Melbourne. Their crowds are up. The game is growing there. They are in week two of the finals. Don’t think for a second the fumblers want them in Melbourne. We are a threat there because they see every other sport as a threat. Melbourne is the hardest market to crack and the Storm are now established there. Ffs some of you need to see the bigger picture.
You’re correct. You don’t think.Nice post, but I thought the Storm gets averages of of over 20k this year? For finals footy it's no where near that tonight I don't think.
Ok EinsteinYou’re correct. You don’t think.
Nup. Just logical. I’ve been to Melbourne enough times to know what’s it’s like. The game is going well there but it’s up against huge odds.Ok Einstein
Than put some logic into the NRL then, to tell Nine where to go, and schedule it for Sat night FFSNup. Just logical. I’ve been to Melbourne enough times to know what’s it’s like. The game is going well there but it’s up against huge odds.
Is it really? Or is it the event across the road?No way ch 9 would have allowed that.

This game Sunday at 3.30pm would be a sellout thanks ch9
Nine only cares about what is best for Channel 9, and the reality is Friday is a significantly larger TV night than Saturday.Than put some logic into the NRL then, to tell Nine where to go, and schedule it for Sat night FFS
Jesus mate shut up. It’s Friday night footy. The ratings will be massive and that’s what fuels the game.Than put some logic into the NRL then, to tell Nine where to go, and schedule it for Sat night FFS
Stop making sense. The children are playing here.Nine only cares about what is best for Channel 9, and the reality is Friday is a significantly larger TV night than Saturday.
Channel 9 would consider themselves being 'reasonable' by not forcing the Warriors to kick off at 9pm on Saturday.
You’d be watching the AFLW though? This game Sunday at 3.30pm would be a sellout thanks ch9
Not bad considering the 95k crowd across the tracks would've scared a few casuals away19,534. Not spectacular, not awful.
