Tigers are amateurs.

This situation really highlights that clubs don't give a damn about commemorating the ANZACs, it's all about $$$$

But what about the NRL Licensing department that approved it? What kind of sea slugs are working in that office? Obviously they just approve anything that comes to them.
Or maybe the NRL licencing department are letting this stuff go, as its not offensive, ....just like the manly rainbows, it doesn't ruin the brand, just highlights the idiots at their respective clubs

Theres more, cowboys, warriors, roosters, knghts

And to an extent storm and goldcoast...
Seriously someone needs to get the NRLs ear about branding... all these clubs are taking the piss
There's tons of opportunities out there that just aren't taken - for instance, why does the Raiders away/alternate kit need to have blue shorts ?

You know OUT of all of those White/Blue combos of the 9 teams we mentioned, the raiders one is far the best one to me... ive always thought when seeing the original raiders logo, that their mascot WASN'T a viking, but more of those ice giants, in norse mythology, those bad guys in thor, so the white (which if you look real hard at it is a more ice blue, check out the advertising on the jersey thats actually white against the color of this away jersey, its faint but its an off blue) is more like an ICE mountain look, so blue shorts kinda fits for me, plus this was their original away kit in the 90s

The other teams (other than the dogs) have no excuse they all have stand out colors that sets them apart from most of the teams in the competition

It would be great to see a magic round color rush
And see each team represented by just one major color that sets them apart from the rest
Storm is obviously Purple, Tigers Orange, Cows Silver, Panthers Pink etc

TBF I think the roosters white kit feels like a natural fit. Would prefer they play in white shorts with it like in 2002. I did like the look of their predominantly red centenary jersey however.

Its only natural coz your bais to seeing it consistently, and yeah i do agree, but they have the option of the 1908 red with stripes, which i love i reckon there should be more of that worn, the souths half rabbit heritage a few weeks back, and cronullas inagural jersey just highlights how good the original designs were, so seeing @toomuchsoup s design for the tigers was spot on, there's a lack of branding the clubs themselves to be be unique in the NRL lately, i know the roosters have kept the same design for the bulk of their existence, but they do have other options to be unique and celebrated for it, atleast for the away, just like the dragons do

Our white kit in one form or another has been around since the early 80s and was used during the warmer months, hence the white. I guess it became traditional from there. Would like to see us go red for indigenous round given the prominent red on the aboriginal flag and all. Maybe even an earthy red to fit with aboriginal art?

Keep it as a heritage, once you start mixing old 1908 designs with aboriginal or indigenous ideals, you are opening a can of worms, what you guys have done in the past was use your current jesery but turn the elements into indigenous art, its what most clubs do, you don't want to specifically outline a heritage jersey then tell the designer "deal with it"
Can you imagine if penrith said the same thing, and said heres our brown inaugural jersey, go ahead and design it using brown, you know brown... just coz red is on their flag dont be using it as an excuse

You should do that light blue for ANZAC as an away. Tough loss for you guys last night. I enjoyed it though lol

My thinking was using our red centenary template instead of our regular home kit just for something different. But your brown example has got me thinking of a brown paper bag motif. Maybe a Politis b’day celebration?
