I wonder what jersey Penrith will wear against Newcastle tonight? I was certain they would wear their pink kit last year but they wore their black jersey instead.

Penrith should look at getting a white kit next season as an alternate.
White dont sell, its black or pink these days
Besides isnt there enough plain white jerseys in the NRL, they are fkn boring

The primary strips for both teams are more than different enough that no one is going to get confused.

I personally like that Penrith tries to wear their black kit as much as possible, wish more clubs took that approach.

Not a fan of the concept but the Dogs got pretty close to perfection on this one. It’s identifiable as a Dogs jersey and not over the top with cammo or pictures of soldiers.

Someone told me the poppy looks like a bullet wound and now I can't unsee it.

If I was PENRITH!!! I would change the alternate jersey to the brown/ white one they wore through the 80's. The majority of the jersey is white anyway, just the brown across the top. That way it's different enough to justify as a 'clash' jersey, while also appealing to the retro market. Even their original 1967 jersey (brown with double white chevrons) might work, as I don't think there's another team in the NRL who have jerseys that would clash with a majority brown strip?

I love home vs home matchups. They don’t happen often enough. It’s funny, most of the time there’s a clash it actually involves an away jersey

Penrith are the one team you never have to wonder about in regards to what jersey they'll wear - they publish it in their NRL Teamlist article every Tuesday at 4pm

The Panthers will wear the 2023 home kit for the Round 7 clash.

Yeah, be nice if it was like the NFL and jersey schedule is all announced prior to season kickoff.
Well it all depends on weather too, especially with the panthers, they basically only clash tigers home and sharks away, so generally they'll be sweet, but if its a early arvo game in qld, or somewhere else hot, they'll try to wear the pink, as black can attract heat, but realistically dark home light away is what most teams should be striving for... if the team has a light home well then they better have a dark away kit

We already wear those colors as training gear pre game

Rabbitohs ANZAC jersey. I guess we're commemorating what our jerseys looked like on TV when we won the majority of our premierships.

I hate commemorative cash-grab jerseys.

We should never, ever play in anything other than Cardinal and Myrtle.

Looks like if the NRL clubs introduced "Blackout" jerseys

I understand why Souths fans would hate it, but I quite like their "commemorative" jersey.

Not a big fan of most, including my Sharks' ANZAC jerseys.

On a side note, remember with the Manly rainbow jersey the common retort was "what if there were a Christian jersey?!" - I wonder if the cross on the Sharks' ANZAC jersey will raise any issues. I bet it doesn't.
