As a Warriors fan it feels weird not having had to use the word "mathematical" at any stage this the year!

The only maths I'm thinking about now is which dates to book flights for a potential home final!
Oh I’m still heavily thinking about mathematicals… except this time it’s our mathematical chance of a minor premiership!! Everything up to 4th place is completely within our own control though!

Yeah I just don’t see the Panthers dropping enough games to lose the minor premiership. Brisbane and Melbourne have tougher runs home though.
I agree, although we have storm, parra and last round cowboys, which they might rest the 1st grade side, all 3 teams can beat us

If Warriors win every game (very possible on form)-
To finish ahead of Broncos, Broncos have to lose 2 plus 20 F/A difference to make up. Also quite possible with Broncos to play NQ, Storm, Raiders Eels and Roosters
To finish ahead of Panthers, they would have to lose 3 due to better F/A. This is unlikely. They've got Sharks. Parra and Cows, all at home, if they are safe in 1st they'll probably rest their entire team for the Cowboys game.

So in the fair dinkum dept, the best the Wahs can do is 2nd I believe, which is as good as 1st except you don't get the 100k.

Yeah I’d drawn the same conclusion after the Broncos and Storm game hence I’m picking us to finish 3rd. 2nd is a possibility, 1st really just a mathematical.

would Warriors get home prelim if they finish top 4 and win week 1?
Ofc they would , while theyd ask the Wahs where they want to play it .. the NRL could choose Eden park as they control the finals.

if they finish 2nd & play at home in week 1
I'd play that at Eden too , they'd be playing the Broncos or Storm ..... would push a sellout & the prelim would on its ear

stick it fair up wugby yawnions arse
