Burgees hit had none of the intent or contact of the Luai hit.
Too’ hip drop was on par with the JDB one and the Fitzgibbon one far worse.

NAS and JWH do worse than that burgees hit every other week and nothing. MRC is just a bunch of donkeys

To'o wasn't a hip drop. A diving tackle from behind is always going to mean the tacklers feet will leave the ground.


I agree on the Burgess Luai comparison. I don't know what vision the MRC are watching sometimes.

that’s the point, neither were hip drops with any intention but both result in leg trapped an potential injury. Simple penalty nothing more situation like an accidental high tackle on a falling player

fitzgibbon on the other hand dragged the torso back and put downward pressure on the leg in what was a very dangerous tackle

I didn't pay much attention to the JDB one tbh. I also think he is a piece of shit, so my judgement would be clouded anyway.

There is no planet on which Burgess' tackle was the worst of the lot this week.

But of course my club will just roll over and accept it.
