Can't understand the on field penalties for JWH.

Late on the kicker, direct to the head. Could easily have been a send off. Sinbin was the (very) soft option.
15 seconds later, headbutt. Could easily have been a send off, at very least worth a sinbin. Effectively got no in-game punishment.

And surely 2 sinbin worthy offences in 20 seconds is worth a sendoff?

Smith and Klown missed the chance to show they had some intestinal fortitude. Instead they demonstrated again that Belinda Sleeman has more balls than either of them.

A Newcastle player (Mitch Barnett) did that on a Penrith player (Chris Smith) last year and got hit with a wet lettuce leaf

The MRC is reimbursed by the player for the cost of dishing out punishments... and a lettuce leaf cost about $10,000 back then. So pretty costly for Barnett in the end.

Why is the base penalty for a grade 1 crusher a $2,000 fine in the NRL but a 2 week suspension in the NRLW?
