Nah Luai offers zero utility value, if he's not starting he shouldn't be in the 17 at all.

I am biased but also I dont want Nicho playing Origin as it means he'll miss club games and the added risk of injury/fatigue so part of me doesn't mind if he doesnt get named, though he's probably a lock for the 14 if not the 6.

Doubt he is either, but TBH i'd pick him at 5/8th alongside Cleary before i picked Luai on form this year. At least then you know if Cleary got injured you have someone who could steer the team around - something Luai cannot do

Where i live, most kiwi's and pacific islanders walk around shopping centres barefoot, so in Freddy's eyes that probably makes them more "grounded".
