And players in form being ignored for incumbents - how Dylan Edwards hasn't played for NSW just because Tedesco is the incumbent is beyond me...

The system needs to start rewarding form over incumbency.

A player like Dylan Edwards (and our very own Gutho) busts their arse and constantly delivers 7 or 8 out 10 performances, but they get overlooked for an aging Tedesco, or two fullbacks playing centre.

Yep, I can't believe that on form Tedesco deserves/would be given the gig and Edwards miss out... but that's what will happen. Maybe Tedesco will pull out a now rare blinder if he's lucky.

But same with Paulo - has been pretty average including the first half of Friday night, but the incumbents just have to show an odd glimpse of form somewhere to justify selection, above blokes that have been going gangbusters for 10-12 weeks. (And Paulo's already in all the Ch9 ads, so I guess that gets him selected too...)

Freddy has to have a minimum amount of Roosters and Panthers players in there.

He has already gone past the minimum quota of panthers so he has to make a compromise with sneaking Teddy in from the Roosters side to reach the quota.

Tedesco has been NSW most consistent performer over the last few years. Plus he’s the captain. He deserves his spot. Edwards is shit under the high ball too. Tedesco is very safe.

If anyone deserves selection based on service it’s Teddy. If he’s fit, you pick him. Also, his game v Dragons silenced many. He’s just a victim of playing in a clunky team.

Edwards is fine under high ball. But he hasn't the x factor of Teddy. I'd still go with Teddy tbh.
Latrell has to be in the side. So does Turbo if plays well today.

Yep. I dont know why people are complaining about having fullbacks (Latrell and Tommy) at centre when they have both proved they can play there at origin level.

Not just that. What other centres have been killing it?
Crighton and Lomax have been ordinary. Staggs been ok but I don't feel exceptional.
Who's form warrants it? What centres are pushing? Penisini on form might be closest to the best form centre available for NSW.
