Never heard so much about the flog ball today,on every page. Who cares if they get more money or whatever they get. As long as we're winning the ratings war that's all we should be concerned about. And another thing, stuff them and their 80 minutes of constant drop ball😴
Wb can’t help but talk about them. He is a swans fan.

You do love to talk afl, I’ll give you that, must have been those years as a swans fan?
Yeh putting crap on afl and watching you run to its defence it’s hilarious

tell us again about how genuine rugby league fans need to be afraid of that abomination

Panthers vs warriors

700k in. Nz

The nz ratings this year will be well over 10 million with the extra fta coverage
It's likely the Wahs will outrate the All Blacks this weekend, the Warriors play an elimination home game in prime time while the All Blacks play Nambia in the early morning.

The Warriors pulling a bigger audience than an AB WC game would be mind blowing.

Anyone know if the Warriors game is on FTA in NZ ?

seems crazy both codes have dropped back so much at finals time. i guess both finals have got a good sprinkling of teams across the spectrum that might otherwise not have strong followings.

Also have to remember that the ratings for last year include streaming ratings that predate the current Oztam survey, and seem to have understated the audience if anything (which makes Oztams objections to Foxtels data releases as being "too high" earlier in the year look stupid).

No one has seen where the 700k and 1mill figures quoted for NZ Rugby (sic) in a random tweet originated from, and a google search turns up nothing.
Only you would be miserable enough to question it (and even go to the length of attempting to track it down to discredit it), most League fans on here are happy to accept it, even though we know to take it with a pinch of salt.
The facts are a prime time game for a team garnering masses of publicity across that country (and even you can`t be that miserable to deny that) 700k isn`t completely out of the question. For christs sake buck up.

The NRL had 15% more viewers for Week 1 of the Finals on linear sets, but the AFL had 25% more viewers on Fox BVOD giving it a 4.23% margin over the NRL, including 80% more minutes watched, and a 27% larger reach.
Did you end up calculating minutes at the new % that I pointed out based on program length or are you still calculating at 50% more ?

Hang on, believe it, or take it with a pinch of salt? Which is it?
I'm not denying its true, merely pointing out to the person who asked that there has been no validation of the numbers stated.

So with how the gaming is growing on TV and in game attendance, I assume the broadcast agreement for NRL from 2027 will potentially be the biggest one in Aus? Not too sure how it all works, I'm just glad we get full access to all games
