Both crowds were better than I expected in the conditions, especially those 9K at Newcastle... unless your up top, there is very little protection from the elements at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Wouldn't have mattered where you sat last night - the wind was blowing a gale at times and moving around to all directions. Unless you were in the corporate boxes with glass windows you were getting wet.

Well done to the 9K, and they got the result they deserved. A special mention to the guy in the mask and snorkel.
