I have no idea what your point is lol
Broncos get charged a lot because its a large modern stadium and they get big crowds. They take $2mill revenue a game from it so $400k a game rent isnt huge in their context.

Would be interesting to know what other stadiums rents are. Ten years ago they were charging $80-100k to hire HBF stadium in Perth.
You
So does that mean the Dolphins pay the same amount of rent aswell?
probably which is why they take some games to kayo which they own

We don't know that they pay $400k in 2023 either, the only article quoting a figure I can find is over 15 years old.

The signed a new 12 year lease in 2022, so I suspect they are more than happy with the current arrangement.

What do they get for there lease payment also, I know, for example public transport to and from the game is usually included free with a game day ticket (for example)
Its in their financials. 2022 they had a stadium operating expense of $6.5mill. This was significantly up on the $4.8mill they paid in 2021 (may have been covid reduced fees to help them out?)

Well if you can take $2mill revenue on a $500k stadium lease a game then Id say playing at Suncorp sounds good business? Better than 10k ticket sales and no corporate facilities at Kayo!

Parra deal is less than half broncos
Broncos is just over $600k a game. Taking $2mill a game in revenue
looks like Parra is paying under $200k a game. They are taking somewhere around $1mill a game in revenue.

So if they play 12 home games at an average of 30k per game.

Thats about $18 per person per ticket.
Possibly, hard to know what they are including in that expense. If its just stadium hire or has some other costs included such as corporate suite catering and drinks etc?
Then the direct costs of the club putting on a game day event; ie marketing, own staffing, promotions etc. But yeh around $20 max a ticket is probably what its costing them to host a game at Suncorp.

Isn’t brisbane rent 5 million pa ? Not 7 million
2022 it was $6.5mill for 'stadium operations expenses'. 2023 it was $7.8mill
We dont know if that is just rent or includes some other stadium expenses such as corporate suite costs. Last year they took $23.2mill in tickets, memberships and corporate game day sales

NQ game day expenses were $266k a game in 2023. Again unknow how much of that is rent or if all of it is. Game day revenue was $1mill a game.

That’s so much in rent

when rates were so low they could’ve borrowed at. 2 percent or so and built their own stadium

it’s probably as much rent as the rest of the nrl combined

I think it’s based on attendances and corporate box sales so the dolphins wouldn’t be paying that much

There is the answer as to why Dolphins have to play some games elsewhere

Surely the Dolphins aren't paying the same rent when they play @ suncorp like the Bronx
Dolphins definitely aren't, firstly they have not signed any long term deals with the venue yet, guaranteeing a set number of matches at the venue.

Secondly you can see with how the venue is opened up per game by the two teams. Broncos always have parts of level 5 & 6 open up for all their games, whilst Dolphins sometimes don't sell beyond Level 3.

I imagine it's a case of the Dolphins have a lower fixed cost per match than the Bronx, but once the crowd hits a certain size, would be paying more, similar to how the Roar & Reds pay significantly less than the Broncos to use the venue.

It would explain their annoying selling strategy of trying to exhaust everything in the lower bowl before opening anything else up.
