How many fans are missing out every week because we don`t have big enough stadiums. Absolutely nuts.

Hard to argue even if Dolphins & Sharks to an extent are self inflicted. Panthers have an upgrade coming and Sea Eagles are looking at their options at least. No Warriors home game this week but they’re in the same boat selling out how many games in a row now?

If u compare it with the dolphins crowd of 32k last sunday, the bronx have more of level 5 filled, level 6, level 7 south and a bay and a half of level 7 east occupied.
Either the dolphins was over reported or the broncos under reported, looked like way more than an extra 3k

I was at the Dolphins game and 32k was about right. But the Broncos game looked about 8-10k more.

The Broncos look like they’re a decent chance of having their 2nd or 3rd best season ever, certainly a good chance of getting their best average this century and best since 93-94.

According to this the numbers to beat are:
1st - 1993 - 43,200
2nd - 1994 - 37,705
3rd - 1995 - 35,902
4th - 2010 - 35,032
5th - 2009 - 34,587

1st is next to no chance given that they max out at 52k and Thursday nights and stadium members are a thing now. 2nd or 3rd is definitely a chance though if they have another good year, especially looking at their draw. Only 1 Thursday night game left against the Storm last round which should be a large crowd regardless, 5 Friday 8pms, 3 Saturday 7:30pms, 1 Saturday 3pm & 1 Sunday 2pm.

Remaining home games are against Cowboys, Dolphins, Raiders, Roosters, Titans, Sharks, Panthers, Dragons, Bulldogs, Eels & Storm. Some big crowds coming.

Fifth best

2015 v Storm 44015
2023 v Storm 43,271
2016 v Roosters 37,566
2015 v Souths 36,057
2024 v Souths 35,507
2023 v Penrith 33,343
What makes it most impressive to me is that all the games with a higher attendance have an interesting factor:
2015 v Storm 44015 - Hodges last home game
2023 v Storm 43,271 - Playing for minor premiership
2016 v Roosters 37,566 - Corey Parker's last home game
2015 v Souths 36,057 - this was Bennett's first game back and was pretty well marketed - horrific heat and humidity kept a few away.

Obviously first home game after a GF helps, and while I think we could have drawn more I am happy with that crowd.

Broncos games are so weird.

Dolphins had about 100people in level 6. We had level 6 full, level 7 south full, and maybe 400 in level 7 east. Our GA bays in level 5 north looked decent too. I think we still give away quite a few seats in the lower bowl to sponsors which aren't used.

The first three figures (93-95) are QEII Stadium, which had a higher capacity.

2nd & 3rd are beatable, 43,200 likely won’t be beaten until Suncorp is expanded. Best at Suncorp is 2010 one which looking at their draw they will surely beat unless their form goes to complete shit.
