Bunnies vs Wahs. Any chance we can see 25k+ at accor?

Yep I think this ones a smokey for a big crowd. Wahs haven't played in Sydney (outside of the final against Penrith that sold out in 5 minutes) since round 19 last year against Parra at the beginning of their run. That game had 22k and I remember them being a good portion of the crowd and loud.

I know we've still got a game to go this round, but looking ahead:

Storm v Broncos:
Match is trending ahead of Panthers clash with significant sales in the upper bays, sidelines and behind the posts. Should be their third game above 20K this year unless sales just stop.

Knights v Dragons:
Strong sales in the lower Eastern & Western Grandstands, trending ahead of the Knights last two home games this far out, arguably their best timeslot yet this season.

Sea Eagles v Panthers:
As mentioned already in this thread, less than 1,000 tickets left for the game. Should be 17K+.

Cowboys v Titans:
Lower bowl down to single seats, strong sales in southern grandstand. Trending for 18K+, although Sunday's aren't one of the club's preferred timeslots.

If Storm can get 20k again on Thursday night that’s a great sign, surely the first time they’ve done so for 3 straight regular season games? I know they’ve had 3 big home games to start the year but still.

I've been at Brookvale with 27 000+, Kogarah with 22 000+, Belmore with 27 000+ and Redfern Oval with 21 000+.
All games were what they were in the days before OH+S.
They were great days! No one ever complained about over-crowding back then.

Great crowds so far, but given its Easter Round 4 year on year comparisons are without context and meaningless.

It is still round 4 and Easter or not it is still a record. So that certainly does not make it meaningless.
In fact, in years to come with the current crowd`s growth trajectory we may break this record again and the fact that it was Easter in 2024 will only be a footnote.

Is that supposed to be good?
Stadium still looks like a park footy ground...so after being the worst ground in the comp by far.. it'll be transformed into just the worst?

There's no way that the Sharks can be NRL quality club really. They have a small population of suburbia that at thier very best can pull 17k and the bigger stadiums are too far for that small population to bother travelling to.
There's similar situations happening with the Tigers ect but they all have solutions..
The only solution that brings the Sharks up to NRL level is a move to Perth.

No prophecy. The Sharks will always be there..sadly.
While the rest of the league brings the NRL up to an international brand, the Sharks hold it back to the NSWRL.
