These sliding doors moments are silly to talk about e.g. Walker's 2021 intercept. There was a stack of time left on the clock and they would have just gone on to win the game anyway if Walker's pass went through.

Take the hapless Eels earlier this year for example. Down by 14 and we score three tries in seven minutes. Not some miracle, we just did it because we can. And that is because we have...

Gears:

a toothed wheel that works with others to alter the relation between the speed of a driving mechanism (such as the engine of a vehicle) and the speed of the driven parts (the wheels).
"a racing bike with ten-speed gears"
"the penrith panthers have several gears available for use"

Will be no different on Sunday. They can win the game from any scenario.

Looking at both teams middles, I'd be surprised if Penrith don't win this. Leota/Fish going up again Tui/King is a huge mistmach. Storm bench isn't much better either. Welch has barely played. A rookie and Macdonald.

I'll tip the Storm, purely for the fact the Panthers will finally come up against a halfback that won't go missing in the GF.

Missing Nelson leaves a rather large hole. I tend to agree. Fish and Leota have gone beast mode in GFs and I'm sure they will again in their last game together.

Tui/King do not underestimate - forwards need to do their job to allow Hughes Grant & Munster do their thing.

Bellamy will have those forwards ready to run through multiple brick walls on Sunday night

Souffs were never in the lead at any stage in the 2021 Grand Final

they had some momentum in the end and if the holding down was called after that late line break it would have been tied into full time. Panthers were somewhat kissed on the dick that finals series with Storm getting a late 6 again instead of a penalty and sin bin

I’m sticking with Penrith

Got a feeling they are saving their a game for the grand final and are going to blow the storm up early

Next year it’s a different story with storm first and then daylight

It’s a shame the salary cap has torn them apart like that and their juniors have been raided too but this is one of the greatest rugby league teams ever

if the panthers play like they did first half against roosters Storm are no chance. Last week against the sharks poor form won’t continue they were clearly not focused on that game and already preparing mentally for the Storm

True but someone should have been backing up Murray when he broke through. And Souths stuffed up their shift afterwards and failed to straighten and draw the Penrith edge defence in which is something they had done expertly all year long. I'll never be over it ...

Yeah if Roger Ramjet plays the game could be over by halftime.

If Schneider starts at half the game will be over by halftime.

Bellamy kissed us on the dick with his bench choice, then George Jennings said hold my beer and throated it with ball lick, gargle, spit it onto Munsters chest then lick it clean when he spilled the ball with the line wide open.

GG forever a Panther...
