The pink is so obviously pandering to a major sponsor though. Maybe controversial but (if they're going to change the colour palette completely for the away kit) I'd prefer if Penrith went with the 80's brown/ white combo. A nod to heritage and the predominant white on it would prevent a clash with anybody. Traditionalists are happy, the NRL is happy and I'm confident it would outsell the PENRITH!!! Barbie look they have at the moment
The pink sell out ike hot cakes, its alrwady unique, and sells with the kids/families, and real guys who wear pink ain't afraid of anything.... no one other team had the balls to wear it all year round, and it offset our traditional blackkit very well, better than having a fkn boring white vanilla jersey that looks unimaginative... looking at you bronx/eels

The Pink Panthers jersey started back when Sanyo was still a sponsor and was created for Panthers WIL activations.

Back then, even though it was worn maybe 1-2 times a year, it was very popular with the fan base & got plenty of attention.

I've heard plenty of stories as to why it became & returned to being the alternate kit for the Panthers, ranging from Gus made the call after speaking to Eddie Maguire, to Oak wanting it was product placement, etc.

All these maybe true to some extent, though I think the main reason are, it sells better than white (or even the goldy-brown options that were tried for a short time), it is well received by fans, players & sponsors and it is unique & recognisable.

It's definitely not going away anytime soon.

If Charlie Rabbit goes to Vegas with the team we should get a one game sponsorship and put him in the Energizer bunny costume.

Very subtle differences between the Blues & Sky Blues design this year (collars & sleeves are white versus Navy)

Such easy colours to work with and the club is yet to have a decent jersey
The first Adidas home, and first BLK home were great jerseys.
Plus a couple of their Indigenous jerseys have been pretty good.
Its the new logo that gives me the sh!ts. The Titan should really be Gold. And the original logo was fine.

When the Titans started out as the Dolphins, the colours were sorta Miami inspired.

Yeah, and it's a real shame they didn't stick with orange & teal when they changed the brand from Dolphins to Titans.

At least teal & orange would've been distinctive. With the colours they currently have, they seem halfway between the Sharks & Eels.

Also, as blue dominates the home & white the away jersey they get lost in the muddle of teams with blue home jerseys & white away jerseys.
