There doesnt appear to be much rhyme or reason to what games they show up for and dont
And yeah, i get that during COVID they didnt have much choice, but that's over now and they're f**king up calls in big spots because they're going off the tv coverage

If they insist on some form of extra time in regular season games, there's much better ways to do it. This is the baffling part. My best suggestion would be to have 10 minutes regulation extra time just like finals. Winner gets the 2 points, but the losing team gets 1 point for taking the game to extra time in the first place. It's ridiculous that a side has to risk further fatigue/ player injuries/ suspensions on top of the regular 80 minutes just to walk away with zero points.

And, in the golden point format, it's entirely possible that a side could lose the game in the additional time without getting to touch the ball once. They could kick-off, the opposing team could go up field and slot a long-range field goal= game over. How is that a reasonable result in anybody's mind?
