Looking at the reserve grade team that’s playing right now I don’t think there will be any last minute changes at this stage.

shaq, Kenner, Chee Kam are all playing in that game
Is Fletcher getting many minutes? I was really impressed by him in the Charity Shield

Im not sure sorry. Just looking at the score on the website. But from what I see he seems to have played the entire 1st half. Looking at the pack playing I think he would be expected to play 80 in the back row. Shaq, Buddy Gordon and chase Chapman (lock) seem to be the forwards subbing off

Ilias kicking the goals

I would have thought Souths are in need of more speed all over the park.
Both Manly and the Broncos ran Souths ragged.
Well, yeah that too.
Kennar is no good, Milne is slow as F, Johnston is getting older, Tass has never been a speedster, Chee Kam is slow, but who else is there?

I liked Gagai's performance in Vegas and thought he deserved to keep his place. Like you say, Milne is too slow on the wing and his defensive reads can be awful.
I don't rate Chee Kam or Kennar. Neither should be here.

The year cowboys won the grand final they did the same all year with their dummy halves. Granville was the strike player but was getting worked over in defence missing heaps of tackles and then not using his running game.
So they started Rory Kostjaysn who was just used to pass out of dummy half and tackle his heart out for 20-25min then Granville would come on and be able to attack a tiring and fatigued defence.

Cook and Havili could easily be used the same way. If it works and opens up cooks attack I’m all for it
Yep.
I tried to look up stats for head to head player against player.
It's hard to find without having to look at multiple sites, unlike say NBA stats, but from what I can see, and I hate to bring this up, but Cook has never won against Brandon Smith. I got 0-6, without counting playoffs/finals, or tests. Maybe someone else can dig the stats out.

When I saw the change made by the coach, I thought what the hell, but now I'm thinking it might be the best way to go against Smith. We will see shortly......

I agree, don't know why Gagai got dropped.
Johnston is fighting Father Time. He had a 7-10m start on the intercept last week and Deine chased him down, and then torched him for 2 tries the other way.

I wanna see Munro get developed and given a go, even if he has bad games.
Stretch had bad games often in his rookie year, even 2nd year, but look at him now.
But Munro is injured right now.

To be fair to AJ, Mariner is rapid.

Munro walks into this team on the right IMO for one of Tass or Milne, with the winner to play centre.

The Telegraph rates our pack 14th in the league, this week. It's been a problem since Sam and Te'o left
It's a pack that was mostly put together before 6-again for ruck infringements became a thing and up until now, has been bailed out by our left side attack. The 6-again rules should suit Cook's to a tee but our forwards are too slow to give him opportunity.

It was reported today Munro is 2-3 weeks away from returning.
but I agree throw him in onto the wing and let him learn on the job

If Demetriou doesn't give them an absolute ripping at half time, he may aswell go home and not worry about coaching the second half.
