Bad luck to them! They have tried nearly everybody just like when you go to the clothes shop and you try everything on and then realise the stuff you end up buying isn't what you wanted so you give it to The Salvation Army for redistribution.

The Dogs will have an assortment of players and their squad will be like a box of chocolates and don't know what they are going to get.

They will have such a mixed bag and won't know Dick from Harry and only in it for the moolah! If they didn't have Burton to kick the shit out of the Steeden, they wouldn't know what to do with it.

I hate the buggers so I couldn't care less.

We have so many weaknesses all over the park. Would love to see our 6 run at the line, assist line breaks, and offer another dimension in attack.

Defence needs cohesion, communication, and better planning.

Other than than Creighton the players the dogs have signed are back up first graders. Its not a squad that would win a comp, they lack descent front rowers and a quality half back.

I was thinking too my Thoughts were the nrl had a salary cap across all clubs interesting how the titans or Brisbane could fit him in this year… especially Brisbane

I still get perplexed at clubs like Roosters. If they need a prop they go and get top shelf Panthers metre eater. They need a winger so they go get top try scorer Dom Young. They have JWH, Manu, Keary, Teddy on big $$$ to name a few but just keep buying other top level players. Robo must love being coach for the past decade. Same with Storm, Rabbits.

It simply has to be 3rd party deals sprinkled with ‘ inner City lifestyles? Surely players won’t keep signing for unders to be close to Bondi beach as an example?

Anyway, it is what it is.

Yeah, Nah. Broncos Spoon 2 years ago, Penrith spoon a few years ago, Roosters spoon in 2009, Knights 3 spoons in a row not long ago.

The salary cap's purpose when it was brought in wasn't to level the playing field. It was thought that this would be an added benefit, but it's purpose was to stop clubs spending more than they could afford and going bankrupt. The NRL will always be happy to cover the amount of the salary cap of a club who is in financial trouble because it is them who sets the figure, therefore, they can afford to bail clubs out at that price if need be.
