Report on 2GB that we have signed Jesse
Report on 2GB that we have signed Jesse Marscke

He has played 72 NSW Cup games with the Bears and was recently at the Storm on a train and trial contract

He plays halfback but is yet to play first grade
Yes was never going to get a look in feeding into the Roosters last year when Walker spent part of the year in Reggies
Played for some good clubs, goes OK

He beat on a guy who revenge porned his sister but the court wouldn’t convict him,

Not condoning it, but I understand. A bit of spirit in the lad.

Another left fielder from flanno!

Welcome to SGI son, you’re expected to draw on that passion every round.

Good on him, standing up for his sister. Bloke he gave it to is a prop as well so he's definitely not afraid of the big boys. Definitely hope he brings that spirit to the Dragons.

Yeah, I imagine most of us would have responded the same way.

And also, one of those moments when the court got it completely right.

Any youngsters out there, whatever games you want to play, don’t get into any of this private photo nonsense. Could wreck your life.

We let go Wakeham at the end of last season, he’s running around in cup for the Manly side in Blacktown.

40 nrl appearances over 4 years, and he’s stock as they get.

But he’s had a string of failed coaches screwing with his game and he’s up to scratch physically. He’s a kicker of some repute.

Imagine having Tim and Benji coach you?

You’d be lucky not to play worse than before you signed up, a human rights issue!

And he’s a Saint by birth if that helps.

He’s still a kid, got something left.

Worth a scan?

Sloan can be in charge of him!

Our youngsters will get some NRL games this season due to our lack of squad depth. It's a good chance to get some early experience into them & hopefully can compliment our future recruits. 2024 is about getting into good habits for future seasons imo.
Yes, that’s official from flanno.

Later in the season he thought, which is probably right as the injury toll climbs and your opponents are more vulnerable.

Depends on the position and other factors.

I was coaching it got to the point where the finals looked out of reach, I’d be wanting to blood as many kids or fringies as practicable.

If you don’t, you are wasting precious first grade time.

We had this opportunity many times in the last few years and we just kept banging our heads against the goalposts.

The minor Dragons grades need to be winning many games and showing how well they can play. It will be an important period for these youngsters this year.

There’s even more opportunities for youngsters in clubs that are nearer the bottom of the table than above

I think all your youngsters are sniffing opportunity in the air at the moment.

FG is the holy grail.

You’re a lion of the den to get into the top squad, it’s a great honour.

Which is why I don’t really like the contempt and arrogance of Hunt and his kind.

Allen just couldn’t contain himself getting a run with you guys. Glint in his eye, a sparkle, grin as large as a Cheshire Cat… proper Dragons stance.

He should brighten up the club anyway.

Yes but there was a discussion on @getsmarty’ s radio link on the weekend that he could:

“make it back for the grand final this season.”
They also said that it wouldn't be reasonable to play him and suggested they would prefer him to have a full off season under his belt ready for NEXT year. As he was originally on a one year deal it sounded like he impressed the club enough for them to sign him for at least another year?
