Good game. Roosters didn’t deserve it after that middle defence and Union catching.

The dogs just keep existing and teams fall down in front of them.

Look, with 25 errors I'm not sure I'd call it a good quality game of footy but for lovers of chaos it was excellent

Yeah but that one went forward after hitting the leg. I don’t get why it’s not ok to go backward. It never hit the ground or an opposition player.

Anyway it’s all academic because it’s clearly the rule, but just like the rule where if you fall over after playing the ball it’s a changeover, I just don’t understand why.
Admittedly I don't have anywhere near the understanding of any other sports rules as I do league. So it makes me wonder if other sports have these issues with rules being a blanket ruling for different scenarios / rules that just seem to make no sense / different ref/officials interpretations.
Just seems like a league thing.
