2025 Rabbitohs Round 8 - Vs Storm

We're desperately missing Cams leadership. He sets such a high standard with the way he plays it forces everyone else to lift their games.

Yep, disapointing second half a bit rudderless.

But you turned up to fight.

Fair game from Lats, he got binned, but ill give him a leave pass. Much Unlike me, but he gave more than he took.

Sorry for your loss tonight.

Speedster has picked this hill to die on and is desperately trying to justify his beliefs. I truly thought he was better than that, guess I was wrong.
Speedster is a south’s supporter like most people on this forum who backs the squad good or bad and as Bellamy stated south’s were really brave with there defence and the conditions we lost the conversation that is going on is something that happens at the end of the season when all hope is lost we are in round 7 with a few of our top squad out injured let’s settle down and see how it pans out ffs

I respect the right of every Souths supporter to have their own opinion, but I expect them to take ownership when they are wrong, not double down.
I respect the opinion of every true south’s supporter on this forum but if your a south’s supporter what is the right or wrong opinion and this is me after a day on the schooners trying to say let’s stick together and back the bunnies through good and bad

Cheers Ecca. I will never come out and say I think Wayne's wrong and I'm right regardless of whether he does something I suggested otherwise. My ego is not that out of control.

p.s. I see you are replying to a member I have on ignore and have not seen what they have said but its simple and obvious.

I just think that if you're going to make accusations that are false then you need to man up when you are shown to be wrong. He accused me of claiming Trell and Cody weren't quality. When I pointed out to him that he had misinterpreted my comments he didn't have the decency to apologise. Now I see he's trying to imbue another members post with racial overtones. These are the actions of scumbag supporters of other clubs, not fellow Souths supporters interacting on a forum.

Not really disappointed with that result. We didn't just give the game up like last week. Boys put in the effort against a quality side. These high tackles are becoming very questionable these days. Latrells tackle wasn't as bad as the replay makes it look in my opinion he bent over and Sua was already falling over.

Anyway I think we really need Humphreys back. We don't have a kicking game without him. We need to offload Dodd who has been a massive failed experiment and give Humphreys an upgrade as soon as possible.

I actually think once all our players return we will have a formidable team but Wayne's got some tough calls to make around players and their positions.

Our best spine is probably
1. Gray
6. Walker
7. Humphreys
9. Mamo

My only concern is Walker is becoming more and more injury prone.

I think Mamo is one of the big issues. Especially around our lack of punch in attack. We would be last for metres gained.
he doesn’t engage the markers and he is so slow getting the ball away.

Mamo is doing his best and done a lot better than some predicted. But we are very poor at making the advantage line in yardage. It's like we're constantly running uphill compared to the opposition.

We know who will be fullback next week but the week after will reignite controversy either way.

Mate I was kinda of thinking do they now leave Jye at 5/8 while Cody is out?
if Bentley-Happe is a fullback in Reggie’s then maybe give him a crack in that role?

Once Wayne gets out of rehab, he has to see who else is left standing and sticky tape yet another team together to try and get some cohesion going yet again.

He will have his options and Gray did really well playing all over the park last evening. He's just a terrific little footballer wherever you stick him.

Bayleigh went off late in the game in fact so not sure if he will be right for next week or not. Gray actually ended the game playing on the wing in his place!

Maybe AJ returns and he has played some fullback in his time so could be another stop gap option because, yeah, a halves combo of Dodd and Sullivan doesn't fill me with a huge amount of optimism but we may have little choice but to go with that and Gray back to the back?. Sullivan's failure to find touch off a much needed penalty when Latrell was in the bin was unforgiveable and Dodd was vanilla again.

Did you watch that kid on the wing last night. He is well out of his depth in first grade. Would be crucified at fullback.

U look at the ruck when mamo passes the ball noone is standing back and running onto the ball, they are virtually in line with mamo and take the ball at a standstill, how can you make meters this way?
