Maybe Warne was better than Doherty, even if he's not Tasmanian.

I think having what 5 Saffas in the England team is too much, maybe 1 or 2 but 5 is a joke IMO. It is different if New Zealand have Saffas in there team anyway because NZ have a much smaller amount of people to choose players from.

It's beyond a joke when you have four or five South Africans in your team, including your captain, and you are trying to make out that this is the national side of England. English cricket was in the doldrums with their own players, the Ashes had ceased to be a relevant contest, and now some born and bred Saffers have propped up England via purely economic reasons - they've gone there chasing the pound. Aussies have turned a blind eye because it's revived their beloved Ashes.

I think we've got every right to use the likes of Wagner and Elliot when England have gone to the farcical extreme that they have, but I fully expect the hypocritical Aussies to give us sh*t about it.

Dude, the Aussies do give English sh*t for it. You're paranoid on this point. Its just a sign of the multicultural global world we live in. 5 Saffirs, 1 Saffir - makes no difference. They're still representing England and have the English Cricket fans behind them.

You think Caddick gave a toss he wasn't English? Why should Trott or Pieterson care... They're English in their heart now...

Lol NZ are playing an ODI right this very moment (2/19 LOL) and yet all the sheep f**kers are more worried about the Australian match, god bless our little geniused neighbour.

Nobody takes you seriously Terrorwrist- you're a poor man's El Diablo and El Diablo is a poor man's Moffo

But I will attempt to respond to your stupidity seriously

I would watch Test cricket over ODI cricket any day.

Especially the Ashes- it's the biggest cricketing spectacle in Test cricket.

We (NZ) are doing crap at cricket. Regrettably, because it would be great if we weren't and were able to rub your noses in Australia's decline. But we can't. We lost embarrassingly to Bangladesh.

''2/19 LOL''? Wasn't Australia 3/1 yesterday?

:lol::lol::lol::lol: The Saffers have a quota system....the Poms need one in their own team; the way they are going they won't have any England born players left soon. The next cab off the rank for their top order is an Irishman.

Strauss is hardly South African. Moved to England at 6 years of age and has an English mum.

Matt Prior is hardly a yappie too. Dad is English and moved to England at 11 years of age.

Pieterson and Trott are far easier to consider South African but they are both from English families and entitled to British passports at birth. Pieterson's mum is English! English South Africans are politically different to Dutch Sotuh Africans. To bring out that politics I used to mention how good Percy Montgomery was to any Dutch Saffir - who would then tell me how much better Andrew Joubert was.

Saffirs are not regional or club loyalty - its Eng v Dutch within South African white.

Theres a movie "the power of one" - SA during WWII was a mess - the Dutch wanted to be on Germany's side and the English wanted to be on Englands side. Its seriously almost two nations. The Boer War hangover would never dissapear entirely.

As far as I know South Africa is an independent nation. Next we'll be saying that Aussies and Kiwis should be returning to the 'motherland' to play, and that Afrikaaners should be turning out for Holland.

South Africa has a unique history of internal divsiveness. Rivalling the US.

Batman - how do you manage to watch both teams with contempt and call yourself a New Zealander?

I thought only South Africans and POMS could watch a game between two sides and complain about both them. I mean the one similarity between Australians and Kiwis is if they think a side stinks (for whatever reason) they support the other team...

Forgive me for being candid but this is pretty much your contribution's essence

"AUS CRICKET SUCKS NOW HAHAHA" "ENGLISH CHEAT COS THEY HAVE TOO MANY SAFFIRS"

Which is it? Who you dislike more, ie who are you supporting? The Saffier ridden English team or Australia?
