steve okeefe HAS to be next in to be given
a crack during these ashes, will stiffen our batting in the lower order tremendously and is our best spinner, But lets wait till he is 29yo

Won't happen though mate, he can even get a game ahead of Hauritz. I am quite happy to see O'keefe play but I just can't see how it will happen. I see Hauritz playing again before O'Keefe.

Do the barny army ever sing the south african national anthem?

Why don't the Australian commentators continually mention the fact that the Pom team is full of Saffers? I remember when Grant Elliot was out in Aus with the BC's for a one-day series, and it got mentioned every over that he was batting that he was from S.A.
The Poms would be sh*t-house without all their Saffers. Then you'd have 2 sh*t-house teams in the precious Ashes contest, and the Poms / Aussies have to continually talk up the Ashes and make out it's the pinnacle of world sport.
...So we all have to pretend that this is a legitimate Pom side when really it's the England/Jappie combined legion.

Batman - who gives a toss if its full of Yappies. I wanna see Wagner play. I wanna see Pieterson play. I wanna see De Villiers and Smith play.

You think Australia had a heart when they played Keppler Wessels. Or Clarrie Grimmet. Or Brendon Julian.

Cmon mate. Get real.

SA are like the pacific islands. One of their biggest exports is people.

its a tradition that has gone back over 120 years now. No matter how crap the sides are its always looked forward to by those nations.

Waugh would throw the ball to Mcgrath.

Tubs would throw the ball to Warne.

The question is; what would AB do?

It's beyond a joke when you have four or five South Africans in your team, including your captain, and you are trying to make out that this is the national side of England. English cricket was in the doldrums with their own players, the Ashes had ceased to be a relevant contest, and now some born and bred Saffers have propped up England via purely economic reasons - they've gone there chasing the pound. Aussies have turned a blind eye because it's revived their beloved Ashes.

I think we've got every right to use the likes of Wagner and Elliot when England have gone to the farcical extreme that they have, but I fully expect the hypocritical Aussies to give us sh*t about it.
