Openers weren't looking to rush off so I reckon there's a good chance they're making us bat again. Probably think they'll finish us by stumps.

Cant when get rid of DiVenuto yet, he's even worse then Langer, but seriously, horrible batting, going to be a long winter and an even worse summer, need some decent batsman pronto, off and Phil Hughes can f*ck off, and Twatson can bat down the order (where he cant hog the reviews hopefully)

The body language is not good for australia. Compared to the first test in Nottingham when they were up and about, there doesnt look like a lot going for them this afternoon

And harris's first over spraying it down legside.

When caught in a situation like this, you bowl for stumps and start again tomorrow

Edit- watson opening the bowling as well as the batting
The last time australia did that was in the fourth test against india this year with Glenn "the big show" maxwell

Australia resoundingly lost that match, with maxwell a key architect to the loss inside three days

Haddin and Clarke. What's doing. Haddin f**ked up by not going for it AGAIN. No question there. But why wouldn't Clarke put himself in a position to at least be near it. The keeper is infront of you. If you go across you're not getting in his way.

They should both be moving towards the ball instead of neither.
