Runs off over breakdown

10+ - 1
9 - 2
8 - 1
7 - 7
6 - 6
5 - 4
4 - 10
3 - 10
2 - 6
1 - 2
0 - 1

That pretty much displays the lack of intent. You'd expect a few overs of 10 or more, especially considering the position they were in after 34 overs when they took the powerplay.

Could go either way. An underwhelming batting display, but against NZ's batting lineup anything is defendable, especially if they get wickets early.

bloody hell... slats thinks 220 is enough...

i know we have a reputation for choking but come on... we should chase that...

weve chased scores of 300+ consistently over the last couple of years... mind you... we usually have Oram lower down...

White would have to be the most underserving international cricketer going around.

He's not a first choice batsman and he isn't there as a bowler. How does White get in ahead of genuine batsmen, and considering the difficult time the Australian batting line up has had at times, why aren't there more people questioning it?

That 1st innings was damn hard to listen too

1st 25 overs was a Gilchrist/Hayden testimonial, the last 25 were the pitch is slow, 230 will be enough over after over, thank god for Bill Lawry, the call he made when the bird was on screen was Gold

it would be more painful if they had some kiwi here and we had to listen to him butcher the English language

Would have liked Hilfy to keep trying for the swing but no slips doesn't encourage that.

Speaking of mongoloids, was Peter Fulton crossed bred with the last surviving Moa?

Ive got no problems with White being in the ODI side. Considering hes batting at 7 (yeah he batted 6 today cause of the late innings change), id much rather someone with some flair than picking an accumulator.

White is only one of 2 batsman (the other being warner who doesnt look capable at the moment) of clearing the boundary and really hitting. dont know if hes scored an odi 50 no, but hes scored plenty of important 20s - 40s which when your coming in late isnt bad

In theory hes good but White has lost his ability to really smash attacks. Morkel does it with such ease when he comes in but White struggles these days.

I think its just form, he showed some glimpses of it in the T20 and on Wednesday night for the Vics
