Going into stumps 5 down have to think England are marginally in front but not by much.

If our top order weren't such spastics getting themselves out playing rubbish shots we could have been in a much better position.

Hopefully these two can push on tomorrow and the rest of the order can get us somewhere near at least 450.

I would have us just in front atm but only because we have the runs on the board. We could have done better today but we are still in a position tomorrow to finish with 450+
From there it's difficult to 'lose' the test match as England would have to get 600 just to get a good first innings lead. Which could take 2 days.
My money would be on the draw at this stage.

Cant see poms batting for 2 days, most of them are mentally struggling (no reference to trott) they aren't the focused determined unit they were last time around.

We just need Macca to keep in our bowlers ears and we should get a 100 plus lead on the first innings at least, no matter what we score

Three blokes get to 50 pretty easily and all 3 get out to loose shots straight to fielders. Not beaten by good balls, just out to loose shots. They have a lot to learn about putting the boot in when on top the Aussies. Missed a golden opportunity to bat for 2 days and score 600+

I agree with TT poor day by us, not because we are in such a bad position mainly because we had them on the rack and we just let them off the hook. If Hads can hang around with Clarke for the first hour we should be looking at 450.
