what was most disappointing is that no one got near a ton on that road

No that was the 2nd most disappointing thing....the most disappointing thing was I expected it! Clarke aside, the rest of them I have no faith in! Still better than HAH against Swann and Panesar though lol:lol:

Should have been more, but its still a pretty decent position. Not sure its as easy to bat on as it seems - a bit on the slow side, which probably makes it more disappointing that the starts were thrown away.

Cant see poms batting for 2 days, most of them are mentally struggling (no reference to trott) they aren't the focused determined unit they were last time around.

We just need Macca to keep in our bowlers ears and we should get a 100 plus lead on the first innings at least, no matter what we score

You sure do like to talk sh*t.
Pretty ordinary day for australia overall. Desperately need a ton from one if not both of these guys

Dave Warner slowly becoming a protected species. James Brayshaw was sucking his dick when he got out saying "Shots like that can happen the way Warner plays". Steve Smith as well is somehow avoiding criticism. Yes i like the look of Smithy. He has a lot of heart about him but the merkin averages 33 in tests. It's just not good enough to be in the team.

Both teams should be pretty disappointed imo...

Aust because it looks a road, and several got starts... but at the end of the day, despite all their big talk that's the worst top 6 I can recall Aust putting out... worse even than the mid-80s IMO

England too, they shelled too many, and really could be further ahead...

England slightly ahead IMO, but Aust's two best bats at the wicket... and possibly their next best next in

If only he had scored a century two Tests ago...

As i said before i like Smith. He is a very classy batsmen wen he gets going. But no one should have their position in the team secured.

Smiths the only one now without a 50 in this series from out top 8 batting, so pressure on him to contribute. Perth might be his last chance if he cant get going in the second dig

I'm a bit the same, I like Smiffy and he is brilliant in the field, not that that will keep him in the team.

That shot yesterday made him look silly, he had no clue at all and his foot work was non existent and yet he made a name for himself and cemented his spot in the team playing against spin on the sub continent.

He could have come forward and covered that spin but played from the crease which cost him and he never really looked comfortable in Brisbane.

Not really anyone putting pressure on him for his spot though.
