You have to go with the bloke with Shield form, Hughes and North are going great this season (count North out due to recent tragedy) so if Hughes keeps getting tons, Smith keeps getting low scores, how do we ignore both?

Not saying there will be changes just yet, nor Hughes is the next one in. But in all seriousness he seems to be the only one putting his hand up

Smith's batting would be tolerable if he bowled more & was a genuine all rounder.

His dismissal was just comical. Being defensive against spin is easy, moreso when you appear to have an ability to play spin.

Anyone reckon Nic Maddo is a chance of getting a test this series? He's still pretty raw but he's got a massive amount of talent. Made his T20 debut in India, hoping we see him in a baggy green in the not-too-distant future

Just listened to Graeme Swann being interviewed and he said that the he's a traditionalist and he prefers the way the ground used to look. And he said if they ever get rid of the old scoreboard he'll never play at the ground again. (not that he will anyway)
