Only 19-odd thousand at the game today.. in the new stadium with a poised test match. Surprisingly and alarmingly low for mine

Ticket prices were outrageous.

Someone at CA needs firing over prices. In a world that contains the BBL you aren’t going to take kids to a test match if it’s going to cost you four times as much.

Depends if you hate yours kids or not? I barely watch that crap so I'd never force it on my son

Also ive been pretty doom and gloom but the pitch will be hard to bat on if we bowl well and they dont have tons outside of kohli and pujara and their tail is legit trash

We can still win

We might need another big haul from Lyon if we are to roll these f**kwits cheaply. Also can't afford a bad day from Starc, who can bleed runs.

175 lead

5 wickets left (maybe add Finch?)

Don't think India can reach 300, so I guess anything over that to set them we set ourselves up nicely

Crucial we are batting well after lunch tomorrow

Aussie middle order needs a patient player.

Handscomb has to go, he’s just not test standard. At least not at the moment.

Travis Head needs to stop playing stupid shots.

Kurtis Patterson for the middle order to replace Handscomb.

Unfortunately we’re probably stuck with Shaun Marsh until Smith is back.
