Lol, the ball tampering bullshit is well and truly over. They made a mistake, and were given massive punishments for their mistake. It's done.

No shit, I agree with that. CA somehow though not tolerating ball tampering meant we had to take a page out of the NZ nice guy cricket book.

Got no problem with these guys giving stick and showing a bit of arrogance.

Only 19-odd thousand at the game today.. in the new stadium with a poised test match. Surprisingly and alarmingly low for mine

Brisbane was stripped of a test in this series, supposedly for poor crowds which were much higher than what we have seen in this test.

This of course was a ruse to cover for the ineptness and submissiveness of Cricket Australia, who cowered to the demands of Indian Cricket officials, and were unable to negotiate a five test series. CA chose to denigrate and alienate cricket fans in Queensland instead of doing their f**king job.

As a result, Australia loses one of the best advantages it has, being the opening test of the series on a hostile Gabba deck.

So it has been highly amusing to me to see empty stands in Perth. Nice work Cricket Australia.

Judging by the comments on here you’d think we were headed for an innings defeat.

It’s pretty close but I’m confident with some runs on the board, Uzi and Paine at the crease and our lower order who almost always make a decent contribution that we should get enough runs.

Lyon will get us home in the end I’m predicting. There’s not a lot of our blokes I have faith in, but he’s one of them.

Agreed that Whately is an absolute f**k knuckle. ‘Minimum chips’ stfu you feeble virgin.

India didn’t want to play a D/N test either, which would’ve helped Perth get selected over Brisbane.
