Absolutely. No reason to rush for a declaration. Australia should bat 2 full days, declare late in the day and hope to take a couple of cheap wickets before stumps. Even then, the bowlers will still be fresh and the Indians will be tired.

As for the declaration debate, I can’t see India being anymore demoralised than they are now. The lead is big enough and if India actually apply themself they can but for a while on this pitch so I would be getting at least 5 or 6 overs in at them before tea.
