Declaration. Dissapointing to be honest. But the "NO" next to his 329 will boost his average by a fair bit.

Hahahaah what a terrible declaration. Seriously thats a ridiculous decision. Obvisouly wanted a not out for the average.

As disappointed as i am that Clarke didn't push for the record (or Huss' first test 200) he looked pretty tired out there for the last 1/2 hour or so..

Oh look how selfless he is, putting the team before himself, I think we need a channel 9 special on the virtues of Michael Clarke to fully do this benevolent decision justice. Michael Clarke, "A picture of courage".

He just can't help himself.

Well can't believe it, crazy declaration IMO. Having said that, hard to criticise a man who's just played such a great knock.

Nah, that's just stupid. We've just hit the half way point of the match. Clearly worrying about what haterz would think. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I would have pushed for a 500 run lead and declare just before tea.

The Indians could very well get over 500 in their second innings. That is a very big if though.

Declaration seems a bit pointless to me. Honestly I don't see the point in not pushing on and allowing hussey a chance at 200. The way they were going at it the last half hour they could have had that dusted before tea anyway so plenty of time to bowl them out.

Bit of an anti climax I must say, but will be nice if they can knock em over this afternoon
