How shit is our lower middle order?

Once Handscomb goes it gets very light on, I don't even want to know what will happen if a team is able get us 4 down for not much

Same thing that happened against south africa except we have improved 5

6 and 7 still a huge problem

I've gotta hand it to Smith.

Australia have produced the best batting tracks in the world by a mile for at least 5 years now BUT...

...he's at present probably the most prolific century maker since the Don. Soon to be 18 before his 50th test? That's obscene.

Yep. Tail isnt great at present either - Starc has talent but his batting seems to have dropped right off

Its not their job but they have been really gutless. They batted like stupid f**kwits at hobart when smith was at the other end

Warne hates Gilly.

In fact he doesn't get along with most of the Aussie cricketers I respect - S Waugh, Gilly, Punter.

It tells you all you need to know about what a merkin Warne is.
It should also be noted that he's good mates with Clarke and KP. Two selfish egomaniacs.

Which tells you even more about Warne.

Humble and team oriented? Won't like you.

Egotistical twat? Will be your best mate.

He makes sure that when he gets in he makes the most of it. Its great.

Khawaja could learn a bit. Generally been good but throws his wicket away too easily I think. Just leaves you thinking he could do a bit better.

Yeah. Its more that there has been close to no fight this summer from them (first innings Brisbane was ok)

Wouldnt describe Punter or Waugh as humble tbh. Big egos (but could back it up, as warne KP and Clarke could). Clarkes captaincy was always team orientated, tbh he was a great team player as a cricketer, off the field a fair bit different.

Surely that's the end of Wade as a Test cricketer.

He can't even be a flat track bully.

Such a dud shot.

PS Thunder claps ringing out here in Melbourne

Valuable match changing contributions like that combined with his quality glove work no wonder Warne sees Gilchrist in him
