If we get 500 in a day I will per my pants with excitement.
Too late  Damn Huss goes after a great ton.

Clarke 224 no out, amazing knock. I hope they don't forget about Warners ton he set the tone and just demolished them.

Can't believe I haven't seen a single ball all day. :( Is the pitch a road? Now would be the time to grind Steyn and co into the ground....
Kallis was looking dangerous. And yes the pitch is good for batting as most are these days but their bowlers have been terrible for the vast majority of the day.

I bought the hype about the saffers bowling line-up, shame on me.

The spinner is a numpty, but the 4 quicks are all quality - losing Philander, Kallis and Steyn is pretty tough, and by and large these two wickets have been roads... not to mention Clarke batting as well as anyone ever has...

Bugger:) Great days batting but we got a bit lucky with Steyne and Kallis getting injured. I'd love to see us get 600+ tomorrow.

I also think there is no dispute.

Clarke, dedicated himself to test cricket, never chased the IPL dollars, and the rewards are there to see.

Want a successful test career, make it your main goal, forgo the crap.

Belter of a pitch, but to be fair there were plenty of delicious pastries served up by the World's Greatest Attack™. Looking forward seeing Tahir and Faf getting a touch up again tomorrow.

todays play was one of the best i've seen in cricket.

no coloured clothes, no field restrictions and no result.

True, hopefully everyone's available for both teams for the third test.

No Jacques Kallis, no South Africa

Once the great man left the stage, the flood gates opened

We will probably declare around 8/700 an hour after tea tomorrow, would be the way to go

Clarke tripe ton on its way

Can't believe the run rate, its epic. Clarke's form is reminiscent of Pontings half a decade or so ago. He walks to the crease with 50 already against his name
