Big total
but could have really been anything (600- 650) with Clarke and Hussey smashing the South Africans around the park last night

the difference is australia declared in Brisbane (albeit belatedly)

oh and even a park cricketer bowls legspin better than Imran Tahir

 Poor Morne, maybe Hala needs to give him a hug.
I think I may have through Twitter and it worked. Everything I asked for on Cricinfo and Twitter today has happened. Cricinfo quoted me in the 91st over and then Morne dismissed Clarke in the 92nd
great comeback by SA and Morkel. Im pretty sure Hala has borrowed lockys hoover this morning
I was actually out most of the session and just doing everything on my phone and everything just worked for me.
Halla just got a tweet on Channel Nine
Cricinfo and Channel 9 in the same day and got everything I tweeted for. Unbelievable session for me personally haha.

this is what I said on cricinfo and believe even more now that it's happened
Cricinfo said:
Hala: "There is so long left in this test match where the pitch is still a road and will continue to be for a few more days. If South Africa can bowl with some intent this morning and can do away with Australia before lunch, Australia might have 550 odd and it would be advantage South Africa." Still looks a lovely track to bat on.

How is 550 advantage SA? They have a long way to go before they can even think about avoiding the follow on.

the pitch is a road, South Africa have a better batting line up than Australia and they also have a better bowling attack. AAAAAND we've just passed lunch on Day 2, so there is forever left in the match. South Africa could keep batting til lunch on Day 4 and that would be fine, and once day 4 does come, Tahir should prove to be of some worth

I think this morning proved that there is life in the pitch, the SA attack just didn't click yesterday.

But you're 550 behind, your best bat is injured and not coming in till 7 and your third best bat is compromised by wicketkeeping and not nearly as effective.

I don't believe that AB is compromised AND in recent history, any time Kallis has batted injured his made big scores. And Smith and Petersen are in the middle right now
