They want quick runs because it is easier to score with the new ball. THe softer the ball gets the lower it will bounce. I'd have Watto bowling stump to stump.

Thats why they have kept Dravid back, score the runs when the ball is new and have Dravid up their sleeve when it starts to reverse. Smart ploy.

Maybe a 2-nil result brings about some changes?? I feel we are poorly prepared for the Ashes and need to make changes otherwise POW.

The only change will be Dougie or sh*ttle for George , if they were going to change the team they wouldn't do it the first test of an Ashes series.

You are doing well to possibly lose two tests in a row after scoring 400plus in the first innings both times.

Surely Hussey is gone, he just hasn't performed for 3 years FFS. Hauritz will be better in the Ashes I don't doubt it but he is still rubbish

Steve Smith please.

The kid may go for plenty of runs but at least he'd be a chance of taking some wickets. Can't remember the last time an Indian batsmen had trouble playing straight breaks on a 5th day strip.

LOL @ Punter and Hauritz.

Great field, great bowling.

Anyone would think it's the middle overs of an ODI and they're looking to defend 350!!
