I am both a fan and a critic of NZC.

Do not understand the non use of Wagner at all.

But Wagner cannot be chopped and changed anymore.

He deserves better. Made the SL second test win possible. And is consistently a good performer for a couple of years now.

Henry deserved to be trialled. But Wagner has to be the clear #3 based on this and last seasons.

Maybe it is hard to play good short pitched bowling. That said Smith and Burns resisted it for ages. It really depends on how much we are chasing.

The shot I really cant forgive is Marsh's. Yeah Voges was a bit stupid but he did in fact try and hit it over the top. He just couldnt clear the fielder. Marsh just wacked a ball no higher than his waist from outside of off stump to a fielder.

You know what he got a few bad shots to bring up his wickets but he was relentless lol. I will say that at least he had a plan. I dont think any kiwi has had a plan this summer besides hope the Aussies do something stupid or pray for the ball to really talk.
